- Take ownership of a client portfolio, acting as a liaison between clients or relationship managers and the firm's operational departments.
- Serve as the main point of contact for Client Activation in client-facing interactions to facilitate account and market initiatives such as asset conversions, mergers/acquisitions, and other operational changes.
- Interpret client instructions, complete required documentation accurately, and ensure proper setup of static data across all internal systems.
- Regularly review outstanding items to ensure timely completion in line with service level agreements.
- Cultivate strong client relationships to deliver an exceptional client experience, driving departmental growth and client satisfaction.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of each client's structure and needs to deliver personalized service regarding account and market setups.
- Leverage expertise in our product suite, services, and global markets to simplify processes for clients.
- Stay informed about global projects that may impact the group, engaging in relevant initiatives to drive business changes.
- Strong risk management orientation with a focus on control enhancements.
- Experience in coaching and training.

Department Overview:
The EMEA Global Client Activation (GCA) team, a division of our Enterprise Operations Utilities unit, focuses on facilitating the opening and modification of accounts and markets for clients and investment managers across EMEA. Comprising over 50 professionals in Manchester, Wroclaw, Brussels, Singapore, and the US, our team collaborates with clients, investment managers, relationship managers, credit risk, contracts, KYC, and various internal stakeholders to streamline onboarding and the trade lifecycle, contributing significantly to enhancing our clients' experiences.
Your Role:
Join our team in Manchester as an Account & Market Activation Specialist, where you will manage a dedicated client portfolio, overseeing account and market activation tasks, addressing daily queries on our product offerings, services, and global markets, and ensuring compliance with service level agreements in a tightly regulated setting.
