Job description:


Valuation Surveyor - The Role
Our Valuation Surveyors support qualified Surveyors to carry out valuation work. You will support the delivery of key contracts across all Other Public Body (OPB) Sectors and National Taxation teams.

You'll work as part of a team, managing your own caseload and undertaking regular site inspections. You will also support to resolve a variety of valuation and technical issues.

You will work alongside Chartered Valuation Surveyors who will provide you with all the advice and guidance you need. Full training will also be provided.


Depending on your specific role, duties could include:

Health Sector:

Undertaking inspections of health premises and providing a range of strategic advice across the health estate acting impartially between GP Practices and NHS bodies, with a considerable focus on Doctor Rents and Rates (DRRS) cases.


Local, Devolved & Regional Government:

Working closely with regional development agencies and local authority bodies on a variety of property matters, including asset valuation, undertaking site inspections, and providing valuation advice.


National Taxation Sector:
Providing valuation advice through a range of casework for HMRC and DWP clients.

Transport Sector:
Acting on behalf of National Highways and HS2, undertaking site inspections and assisting the team in compensation matters.

We are looking for resourceful individuals with a strong desire to complete tasks to a high standard in a timely and efficient manner.


Essential Requirements

  • Experience of surveying within the commercial sector
  • The ability to deliver work to key milestones.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • A full UK driving licence is required
