Description

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Van Driver to join our team. As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations.

If you have a valid driver's license, excellent driving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively, we encourage you to apply.

Additional Checks required to work within Aviation industry

Be able to provide 5 years address history
Be able to provide 5 year reference history (employment/education/benefit claim/character)
DBS / CRC Check
Airside Application to obtain full airside ID
Full Manual Driving Licence

Responsibilities:

Safely operate a van to transport goods and materials to designated locations
Load and unload cargo from the van
Ensure all deliveries are made on time
Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
Inspect the van for any mechanical issues before and after each trip
Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations

Skills:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Strong mechanical knowledge to handle any minor repairs or maintenance issues that may arise during transportation
Experience driving a flatbed or similar commercial vehicle is preferred
Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a warehouse environment is a plus
Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively

Please note you must also be willing to carry out a driver assessment, CRC check, and FULL 5-year history & reference checks, as we are a CAA regulated company.

Pay:
£11.50 per hour
