Description
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Van Driver to join our team. As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations.

If you have a valid driver's license, excellent driving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively, we encourage you to apply.


Responsibilities:


  • Safely operate a van to transport goods and materials to designated locations
  • Load and unload cargo from the van
  • Ensure all deliveries are made on time
  • Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
  • Inspect the van for any mechanical issues before and after each trip
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
  • Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations

Skills:


  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Strong mechanical knowledge to handle any minor repairs or maintenance issues that may arise during transportation
  • Experience driving a flatbed or similar commercial vehicle is preferred
  • Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a warehouse environment is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively

Salary:
£11.50 per hour
