    Job summary

    Responsible for the provision of safe, high quality and efficient hotel services to patients, carers, staff and visitors to Trust sites on a day to day sible for the day to day management of Hotel Services staff including housekeepers, domestics, porters, catering, reception, storemen, couriers and post room sible for monitoring standards and taking corrective action as show commitment to and participate in quality improvement interact compassionately with service users and carers at all times. Service users have a range of mental health conditions or learning promote at all times a positive image of people with mental health conditions and learning promote at all times a positive image of Hotel Services and the wider Trust.

    Main duties of the job

    An opportunity has arisen for a passionate, friendly and enthusiastic individual to work as a Hotel Services Supervisor within the Trusts Hotel Services Team. Hotel Services Supervisors are responsible for the day to day management of Hotel Services staff including housekeepers, domestics, porters and receptionists, who provide and maintain a high standard of soft services support, cleanliness and the provision of food. This post involves shift work including late/early, week-ends and bank holidays. You will be required to work different varying shifts between the hours of 06.45am - post you are applying for is 37.5 hours per week permanent post and your base will be West Park Hospital, Darlington. You may be required to work in different locations within a team. You should be highly motivated, reliable, flexible and willing to work at short notice with substantial experience supervising/coaching staff on a day to day basis. Experience using IT software . Microsoft Office. Experience of working in a mental health environment would be desirable along with a passion to providing high standards of customer service and cleanliness.
