Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust for the position of Band 5 Theatre ODP within our day-case theatres.
The hospital has three operating theatres and a minor ops suite and procedure room. Specialties include urology, breast surgery, gynaecology, ENT, general surgery, trauma and orthopaedics, ophthalmology, pain management, and dermatology services.
On occasion, you may be expected to work at King's Mill Hospital, which is also part of the SFH Trust.
You should demonstrate an aptitude for developing your knowledge, ideas, and work practices to improve quality and maintain our high standards of theatre practice.
We are rightly proud of the 5,500 colleagues who work here and we are the Health Service Journal's Trust of the Year in 2020.
The Care Quality Commission rated King's Mill Hospital Outstanding and Newark, and Mansfield Community Hospitals Good. Overall we are rated Outstanding for care.
