    Role Overview:
    We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Commercial Manager to join our client's esteemed team.

    As a Senior Commercial Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial aspects of complex infrastructure projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

    This is an excellent opportunity for a strategic thinker with a strong commercial acumen to contribute to the success of major construction initiatives.



    The Project:

    Accelerated Strategic Transmission Investment (ASTI) framework, involves investing over £10bn to upgrade the electricity transmission network infrastructure across the north of Scotland between now and 2030, as the region is set to play a leading role in delivering energy security and net zero.


    The north of Scotland will play a key role in enabling the connection of up to 11GW of new offshore wind capacity through ScotWind projects, enough to power more than ten million homes in the UK and supporting 20,000 jobs across the UK, 9,000 of which will be in Scotland.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Manage and lead the commercial function for the framework mentioned above
    Provide strategic commercial guidance to project teams, ensuring financial objectives are met.
    Collaborate with stakeholders to negotiate and finalise contracts, ensuring favorable terms.
    Conduct risk assessments and implement effective mitigation strategies.
    Monitor project budgets, financial performance, and forecast future trends.
    Foster strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
    Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing commercial team.

    Requirements:
    Proven experience as a Senior Commercial Manager in the construction or infrastructure sector.
    Strong understanding of contract management and negotiation.
    Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and financial performance on large projects.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    Strategic thinking with a results-oriented mindset.
    Leadership experience with a track record of developing and motivating teams.
    Relevant degree in business, finance, or a related field.
