    Job Description

    With another internal promotion, we're now looking for a Commercial Performance Analyst to join the Performance and Planning team at Abcam Performance & Planning is part of the wider Commercial Enablement team. We are the engine room of Abcam's commercial function, empowering our colleagues and improving their commercial understanding so that they can better serve our customers effectively and efficiently. Our vision is to act as a catalyst for positive change across the customer-facing teams and the wider business.

    Working within the Performance & Planning team and partnering with commercial leaders within the business, you will be responsible for improving global performance levels of our customer-facing teams with KPIs, reports, and data to drive outstanding commercial activities across sales, service and marketing.

    Key responsibilities include:
  • Maintain and improve Tableau performance reporting suites for Commercial teams
  • Support with the identification of relevant KPIs and measures which reflect the performance of the Commercial teams
  • Use reporting and analysis to identify areas to drive change, course corrections or further iterations in Commercial strategies
  • Prepare and present data/insights to senior stakeholders in a practical way to guide strategic decision making.
  • Maintain and improve our data sources to allow faster, more automated reporting, working with our Data Engineering team who are owners of our main data sources.
  • Provide ad hoc analytics support to the function on data analysis, reporting and performance
