Trainee Fire Door & Compartmentation Inspector

Total Protection (Fire and Sealing) Ltd. - Chelmsford, Essex.
A great opportunity has come available to add a new member to our team.

We are a growing company within a group of business' committed to unparallel service and the further growth of the division.

We have an offering an exciting opportunity to an individual to work with the Survey manager for a role within the passive fire and sealing business.

Duties Involved:
Fire Door Inspection and Fire Stopping & Compartmentation Surveys

Responsibilities to include:

Completing invasive and visual inspections of fire doors and fire stopping your findings in line with current regulations and test data
Preferred to have experience in measuring fire doors for manufacturing.
Able to work targets and ensure deadlines are met.

Person Specification

Basic knowledge of Fire Door and Fire Stopping preferred.
Full driving licence and Vehicle
Strong communication skills
Willing to work across the full Southeast of England, may require some hotel stays

Job Types:
Employed Full Time

Day Rate: 30K

Basic knowledge of both/either fire door suppliers or products
Computer Software Capabilities (Excel, Word etc, Boris software knowledge is not essential but preferred.)
The ability to monitor our recording software to assist managers in the day to day running of their jobs.
Experience dealing with Customers and Providing Excellent Customer Service.
