- Ideally hold a BSc/BEng or above in an appropriate technical discipline (Infrastructure/Civils/MEICA) or equivalent qualification/experience
- Project Management Qualification from APM or similar professional organization, or demonstrable project management experience with a willingness to progress towards MAPM
- Proven experience in managing civil utility infrastructure (Electrical, HV/LV system bias) projects from inception to completion, using the NEC suite of contracts, with knowledge of current legislation, technical standards, and specifications
- Proficient user of MS Office and MS Project
- Demonstrable understanding of CDM Regulations and relevant Health & Safety legislation

Job Summary:
You will manage a range of civil utility infrastructure projects (Electrical bias) at the Port of Dover. Projects vary in size and complexity, from large and complex to smaller scope projects, all part of the Ports Capital Investment Plan. These projects will be executed in the live operational Port environment, requiring collaboration between project managers, consultants, contractors, operational teams, and stakeholders in the Port estate. The main objective is to ensure successful project management throughout their life cycle, with a solid strategic foundation, scope, commercial plans, and resource plans developed collaboratively across stakeholder groups. Effective collaboration with the supply chain and technical competence in the design and build process are crucial.
