You will be part of the Business Banking & Lending legal team which supports numerous areas across the bank, including SME Banking, Lending, Treasury and Asset Management.

The role represents a fantastic opportunity to join a growing and dynamic team and make your mark at one of the UK's most exciting fintechs. The right candidate will have space to grow within the team and will enjoy a wide-ranging scope of work.

Your responsibilities will include:

assisting with transactional work (both pre and post completion);

supporting lead lawyers in projects and client matters;

confidently liaising with the other internal stakeholders;

preparing research notes on legal and regulatory issues which may affect the bank; and

preparing and negotiating agreements such as NDAs, heads of terms, statements of work, order forms and terms of business with third parties.

Requirements

The successful candidate should have previous Paralegal experience in a financial institution or law firm. They must be highly organised, with good oral and written communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and thoroughness is essential.

We are looking for someone confident and outgoing, capable of hitting the ground running and working in a fast-paced and energetic environment. You will be tech savvy, a team player and, more importantly, you will want to make a difference.

Must haves:

Law degree (minimum 2:1 achieved) or Graduate Diploma in Law/Postgraduate Diploma in Law

At least 12 month's Paralegal experience in a similar role/industry
