Brunel University London was established in 1966 and is a leading multidisciplinary research-intensive technology university delivering economic, social and cultural benefits.

The Recruitment Events team is responsible for the acquisition of UK students to the University. This includes delivering our programme of excellent recruitment events.

We are looking for an enthusiastic professional to join our busy team.

You should have experience of organising and delivering events, using data and feedback to improve them, and managing a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

This post will deliver the University's UG open days, UG applicant days, selection days and virtual/on-campus PG events under the direction of the Head of UK Student Recruitment & Widening Access.

This role is extremely important to our student recruitment work and directly impacts on the reputation of the University.

This role requires excellent attention to detail, problem solving skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships with stakeholders across the University.

Considerable proven organisational skills for virtual and on-campus events, maintenance of accurate records, and working well under pressure are also key skills.

It is essential that you are educated to degree level (or can demonstrate transferable skills - such as analytical, interpersonal, problem-solving and self-management skills - at an appropriate level), have innovative ideas, and can make data driven decisions on student recruitment matters.

The postholder should be fully knowledgeable of Brunel's courses and admissions criteria and have a good understanding of the UK school/college system and UCAS process.

This role involves working occasional weekday evenings, early mornings and Saturdays throughout the year for recruitment events. It is beneficial if applicants can drive and have a UK driving license.

If you would like to join our directorate during this pivotal time in Brunel's journey and believe you can make a difference, we'd love to hear from you.

We offer a generous annual leave package plus discretionary University closure days, excellent training and development opportunities as well as a great occupational pension scheme and a range of health-related support.

The University is committed to a hybrid working approach.

Interviews will take place on Thursday 30 November and Friday 1 December in-person.

All Applicants should be eligible to live and work in the UK.
