The responsibilities of this position are:

This role is based in Midlands, it covers the UK with frequent travel to customers, Atlas Copco sites, and other locations as it is needed.

#LI-Remote. You will directly report to the Service Operations Manager.

  • You will be responsible for and always ensure that Health and Safety regulations are followed ensure that good standards of engineering practice are always followed.
  • You will manage the operations of the field service team and resources to ensure that all allocated work is completed on an organised and effective basis.
  • You will communicate with customers to ensure that excellent customer service is delivered.
  • You will exercise control of all costs associated with the field service engineers Engineer's overtime and expenses and other associated costs. You will coordinate monthly meetings with the team.
  • You will map the field service competencies across all technologies and develop the service team competencies to ensure any gaps in competencies are avoided through development and improvement activities.
  • You will support the Service Sales Manager and Area Sales Managers with contracted customers (including renewal meetings when it is needed).
  • You will maximise new business potential through active lead generation from our Field Service Engineers.
  • You will collaborate with all departments to ensure that customers' needs are met and maintained.
  • You will use customer and product knowledge to assist where required in the daily planning of field service engineers' activity. You will also undertake adhoc work and projects as it is required to develop the parts and service business.

Educational Requirement:Service management experience.

  • Full UK driving licence. Mobility across UK and Ireland. You will be remote with a dedicated territory.
