    Join Our Team as a Project Manager at a Leading Manufacturing Business

    Our client, a manufacturing business with a dedicated on-site R&D team, is in search of a talented Project Manager to bolster their projects team. As a Project Manager, your main responsibility will revolve around meticulously planning, overseeing, and executing R&D projects within set deadlines and budgets. This entails efficiently managing resources, coordinating team members' efforts, overseeing third-party contractors/consultants, and acting as the primary point of contact for project Customers, both internal and external.

    Role and Responsibilities

    • Support and oversee contract costs to maximize margins and minimize expenses.
    • Develop and maintain risk and opportunity plans/budgets for contracts.
    • Establish and implement effective project management processes, tools, and reporting mechanisms to ensure program and budget goals are met.
    • Lead and oversee projects from inception to completion, defining scopes, goals, and deliverables.
    • Manage relationships with Customers, Sub-Contractors, and Suppliers.
    • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within project teams.

    Skills & Abilities

    • Demonstrated experience in leading diverse engineering teams across various projects in different stages of the engineering cycle.
    • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project software.
    • Management proficiency across financial, commercial, engineering, and project domains.
    • Typically an engineering degree holder with substantial on-the-job experience.
    • Minimum of three years of direct project management experience.
