This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has either completed the LPC or has a qualifying law degree and is interested in studying the SQE part time alongside a full time job with us.

As a Paralegal you will be liaising with clients and supportingwith senior team members

Legal firm based in Haywards Heath looking for a Paralegal to join their team, great progression opportunity available.


Description
The key responsibilities of a Paralegal will be;
- carry out office administration, including billing and writing letters
- organise diaries, schedule meetings and respond to telephone queries
- write first document drafts, such as contracts, and proofread documents
- conduct legal research
- analyse and input legal data
- write articles for internal or external circulation
- organise case files, attend court inquests and tribunals, transcribe legal opinion and compile litigation bundles
- file documents at court
- network with clients and build valuable relationships
- negotiate contracts and legal documents
- complete official documentation and write reports on cases
- take witness statements
- attend meetings with experts or claimants


Profile
The successful Paralegal will have;
- an ability to work well independently and use your own initiative, but also react positively to close supervision;
- a meticulous eye for detail and an eloquent and precise way with words;
- high service and presentation standards;

  • IT adroitness and social media savviness;
- a genuine passion for entrepreneurship, business and transactional work;
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- sangfroid and the ability to calmly and humorously deal with a busy workload and demanding clients;
- an enthusiasm to take on new challenges and broaden your knowledge base and skills set; and
- an interest in marketing, networking and business development activities.


Job Offer
£20,000 - £25,000
