Description

We are looking for a Buyer on a 12-18 Month FTC.

This position will be assisting in purchasing activities within the Purchasing Team to ensure that all materials and equipment are on site in a timely and efficient manner.

Working closely with other integral departments your communication skills, ability to prioritise and deliver is essential.

So, what will you be doing?

Sending and expediting quotations.
Negotiating with suppliers to ensure best pricing.
Raising and expediting purchase orders.
Liaising with suppliers and ensuring information is accurately communicated in a timely and efficient manner.
Ensuring materials and equipment are delivered to site or stores within the required timeframe.
Working closely with the warehouse to maintain and utilise stock.
Assisting with stock checks.
Processing Invoice queries

What do you need to have?

Knowledge within an office environment and procurement would be desirable.
Knowledge of Customer Service and impact on business.
Experience within a similar position.
Experience of working to deadlines and tight timeframes.
Strong experience of using MS Office including Excel.
Educated to A Level.
Desire to pursue a career within procurement with a focus on personal development.
Proactive and hands on approach, "can do" attitude.
Ability to work within in a team.
Ability to work to deadlines and time frames.
Attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
