Brief job description:

Estio Training have an exciting new opportunity for a digital marketing apprentice with Delta Academies Trust a Trust based in Knottingley, Leeds


As a Content Creator, you will support the Trust's Marketing Team to create digital content for all social media channels managed centrally by Delta Academies Trust to increase engagement and visibility.

You will work to briefs and instructions provided but will also be actively encouraged to submit your idea.


You will have an opportunity to manage your own tasks but will always be under the direct supervision of the Digital Marketing and Communications Officer.

You will study towards a Level 3 Digital Marketing qualification. There is an expectation you will complete assignments on time.


We want to attract the best apprentices to work in Delta Academies Trust, as such we pay above the national apprenticeship pay rates for all apprentices.

You don't have to wait for a year to be paid your age related National Minimum Wage, we pay this from your first day with us.


Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:

  • You will work with the Digital Marketing and Communications Officer to develop current and future social media content for channels for the Trust and aid academies.
  • You will work with the Digital Marketing and Communications Officer to actively contribute to the continuous design, development, and delivery of marketing strategies for the Trust.
  • An apprenticeship is a learning role therefore, the list below represents tasks that might be undertaken however full training will be given and tasks will vary depending on the needs of the business.

Under supervision and direction:

  • You will curate content design in adherence with brand guidelines including planning, delivery and scheduling for channels including: TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Twitter and LinkedIn, with potential to expand channels.
  • You will schedule content through tools such as Hootsuite, ensuring consistency across channels with regular updates and monitoring.
  • You will conduct keyword research and use SEO techniques to increase visibility on all channels.
  • You will create content with Canva, developing the Brand Hub and social templates, working to develop workflow and approval system.
  • You will create content with Photoshop and other apps in the Adobe Suite where relevant.
  • You will support colleagues and academies across the Trust to develop social media presence.
  • You will support the promotion and dissemination of the Trust's aims, mission and opportunities through the development of social media content.
  • You will ensure all material is produced to a high standard and consistently aligned to and compliant with the Trust's designs.
  • You will analyse content and campaign performance to provide recommendations to improve engagement for future campaigns, in line with social trends.
  • You will actively research social trends that the Trust could engage with, including channel relevance.

General

  • You will be aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, inclusion, health, safety and security, confidentiality, and data protection, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person without delay.
  • You will participate in training and other learning activities and performance development as required.
  • You will ensure you carry out your role in a way that demands high standards whilst supporting inclusion and welcoming diverse thinking.
  • You will ensure strict confidentiality in all areas of work.
  • You will work and process personal and sensitive information in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the UK General Data Protection Regulations (UK GDPR).
  • You will ensure work is conducted in a way that protects the safety and security of information (e.g., strong passwords, reporting breaches, securing paper records, securely disposing of records).
  • You will understand and comply with the statutory guidance regarding safeguarding of children, always ensuring the safeguarding and promotion of children's welfare, reporting any concerns to the Designated Safeguarding Officer at once.
  • You will always comply with the Trust's policies and procedures.
  • You will undertake other reasonable duties (with competence and experience) as requested, in accordance with the changing needs of the organisation.

Qualifications:


  • 5 GCSEs grades A*C/94 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)
