- Ensuring all accounting processes are completed in line with agreed reporting deadlines.
- Leading the month end close process to deliver timely, consistent, and accurate data and financial reports for the business.
- Performing timely and accurate reconciliations and analysis to provide assurance over the reported financial performance of the companies.
- Preparation and reconciliation of the month end margin.
- Review of Balance Sheet Reconciliations, completed by Finance Manager, owning, monitoring and addressing reconciling items, identifying risks and opportunities.
- Leading and driving all IT/ Finance improvement projects.
- Play a key role in the year end audit including the production of lead schedules and sample data.
- Support in annual budget setting process.
- Managing and improving accounting controls and processes.
- Line management of on-site transactional finance, principally Credit Control, and finance manager.
- A qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
- A driven, commercial and forward thinking Finance professional.
- Good with commercial and business acumen, together with an ability to communicate and explain financial results.
- Methodical with a strong attention to detail.
- Experienced in a senior role within a fast-paced environment.
- Able to demonstrate a background in driving, supporting and leading through change.
- Organised and have good administrative skills.
- Able to manage multiple mixed priorities at any given time.
- Great at communicating and have good interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with all stakeholders including senior management.
- Experienced with IT programmes (Excel, Word) and Finance Systems.
