- Understand and coordinate activities among all stakeholders to execute safety-related verification activities
- Ensure a unified approach and technical solutions whenever feasible across all projects
- Establish strong working relationships with electrical, chassis, and software development teams to achieve functional safety objectives
- Conduct rigorous testing in the UK, under hot, cold, and altitude conditions to demonstrate system robustness. Utilize the FMEA process to cover all potential points of failure
- Collaborate with software teams to apply the most optimal control system logic to meet functional safety requirements effectively
- Technical expertise in ISO26262
- Proven track record of delivering test cases, verification methods, and their execution on intricate electrical/software/systems
- Familiarity with planning, coordination, and delivery to back the Cycle Plan programs using Product Creation Delivery System (PCDS) principles
- Demonstrated experience in utilizing formal methods for problem-solving (8D, DMAIC, Six Sigma)

A remarkable opportunity is available to join JLR in our Charging division. The Charging Group oversees the complete charging systems across all JLR products. The Charging System V&V Group validates requirements and verifies charging products.
In this thrilling yet demanding role, you will review charging requirements related to Functional Safety, create and implement test cases or design verification methods, ensuring JLR delivers top-notch products aligned with offering a contemporary luxury customer experience.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Collaborating with fellow chapter members, you will be assigned to the relevant cross-functional agile squad within the Charging Group, collaborating with software, hardware, and systems engineers to ensure adherence to ISO26262 and ASPICE.
