    As a Software Engineer – Mobile, you will be working in ateam that is delivering patient experiences on mobile devices.

    The apps enable patients to stay in touch with their health careprofessionals (HCP) through chat and video, for example, as doctors andnurses make their daily rounds virtually, or for patients to reach out ifthey need to talk to their care team.

    We are building ourapps to help them all.
    Our team focuses on building our core patient experiences and usingexisting solutions in other areas.

    Our front end consists of mobile native code, hybrid ionic capacitor,Angular, Figma designsOur apps communicate with RESTful web services running in AWS mostly inJavaWe use a variety of tools such as GitHub, npm, Bitrise, and moreResponsibilities span the software lifecycle from architecture, design,TDD/BDD, implementation to app store review and observability whenreleased.

    We use an agile/scrum methodology to iterate, learn, and refine.

    You will partner with the UX design and other teams to deliver the full setof features to our customers and their patients.

    What you'll doCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship newfeatures for our mobile applications.
    Develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable mobile applicationsfor Android and IOS platforms.
    Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers toensure a seamless and intuitive user experience.
    Debug and resolve technical issues to optimise the performance andresponsiveness of our mobile apps.

    Basic qualificationsBachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, orrelated field OR equivalent combination of education and/orexperience2 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree ORequivalent relevant professional experiencePreferred QualificationsProficient with mobile development tools and frameworks (e.g., Xcode,Android Studio, Kotlin, Swift)Experience in writing private libraries for use within apps (CocoaPods, Maven Packages e.t.c)Experience with Unit Testing (JUnit, Mockito, XCUnit e.t.c)Familiarity with APIs and integration of third-party libraries.

    A passion for the development of new features, bug fixes and testautomationExcellent communication skills to ensure smooth collaboration with theother Mobile Engineers and our testing team to ensure timely release of newfeaturesStrong product mindset – you build and design with the patient inmind, thinking beyond the technical aspects of the appYou enjoy mentoring and coaching other team membersWork in an Agile/scrum environment using Test and Behaviour DrivenDevelopmentDemonstrated automated testing within a Continuous Integration /Continuous DeliveryExperience with submitting, managing, and monitoring app rollouts inApp Store Connect and Google Play ConsoleExperience in the healthcare industry or have worked with Ionic hybridappsExperience in Javascript programming languages and Angular is a bigplusExperience with cloud services, particularly AWS, and familiarity withmicro-services architectureImplement and optimise BLE communication protocols to ensure seamlessconnectivity with various devicesExperience with BLE communication protocols and librariesWhat's in it for youWe're committed to helping our people thrive at work and at home.
