    Teacher of English

    Main – Upper Pay Range £30,000 – £46,525

    Location: Dormston School, Mill Bank, Dudley, West Midlands, DY3 1SN

    As part of our continued growth, we are looking to expand capacity within our dedicated English Department.

    If you are looking to join a strong, collegiate team who support and challenge each other in a school that welcomes ideas to further support and engage our students, we would like to hear from you.

    The department comprises of 11 members of staff including an Assistant Headteacher, Second in Department/KS4 Co-ordinator, KS3 Co-ordinator, one Lead Teacher, Head of Literacy and Head of House.

    At GCSE Students study AQA English Language and Eduqas English Literature. The results of our students at GCSE English Language and Literature have rapidly improved over the last 3 years, with a positive Progress 8 score in 2022.

    Encouraging students to develop a passion for reading is a high priority at Dormston, and is embedded throughout the curriculum.

    This is a wonderful opportunity for a candidate who has the ability to challenge, motivate and enthuse students to be part of something special and make a huge contribution in our school.
