to join our IT team in Milton Keynes. You will work with the IT Solutions & Development team.
As an engineering team, we're keen to move towards our target state with a cloud first (private and public) approach in our hosting strategy and to transform our systems from monolith to microservices whilst decommissioning our legacy estate.nWe're looking to effective communicator, you will work cross-functionally to translate business needs into appropriate engineering reliability and testing solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in API testing, performance testing and load testing. We're looking for someone with experience with automation tools, and a passion for delivering high-quality products. This role is both hands on supporting a team as well as directly managing a team.

Key responsibilities of the
Test Engineering Manager:
nManage a team of automation engineers to create and maintain automated tests for API testingnDevelop and execute strategies for automated testing, including regression, functional, and load testingnCollaborate with development teams to ensure test automation is integrated into the development processnContinually evaluate and improve test automation processes and toolsnSet up an automation framework from scratch.
nWork with delivery managers to ensure that testing milestones are met and that testing aligns with project timelinesnProvide regular updates to stakeholders on the status of automated testing effortsExperience & skills required to be successful as a
Test Engineering Manager:
nPreferably educated to graduate level and 5-10 years' experience in Test AutomationnDesign and leadership of test strategiesnA track record of delivering complex technical solutions in fast-paced environmentnStrong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practicesnExcellent communication and leadership skillsnExperience managing a team of automation engineersnExperience with automation tools such as Playwright and SeleniumnExperience with DevOps test orchestrationnExperience automating desktop applications using tools such as Ranorex (desirable)
