Job Description:


  • You will be responsible for:
  • Booking-in parts deliveries on a timely basis and accurately.
  • To pick parts as per defined picking list
  • To count stock items as per schedule.
  • Ensure high standards of right first time, efficiency and service level are consistently achieved
  • Provide fast resolution to any picking/stock issues
  • Ensure good levels of communication with Stores Team.
Key accountabilities- Responsibility for accurate booking-in of parts.

  • Responsibility for efficient, accurate and effective picking of parts as per plan.
  • Responsibility for issuing a correct BOM with each kit, and maintaining the Works Order Status on utilities.
  • Responsibility for efficient, accurate and effective cycle counting of parts to plan.
  • Provide positive support to team members as required.
  • To adhere to UK Health and Safety Regulations and safe working practices.
  • To adhere to the business quality standards, factory rules and HR policies.
  • Ensure KPI targets for RFT, efficiency, cost and service are consistently achieved.
  • To make positive contribution to continuous improvement activities.
  • To adhere to all deadlines and targets set by Materials Manager.
  • Establish good working relationship with Stores Team & wider business.
Knowledge/experience/skills- A good understanding of Stores disciplines and procedures, together with Health and Safety and quality standards is required.
- +2 years Stores experience within a relevant manufacturing environment, using best practice stock control and picking techniques.

  • Computer literate with ability to understand and use standard MRP systems.
