Change & Transformation Responsibilities**
Change & Transformation Responsibilities

  • Leading and driving a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration
  • Identifying the direction of business travel, ambition and transformation to create an aligned and realistic change portfolio
  • Shaping the prioritisation of the change portfolio, ensuring this is aligned to the business strategy
  • Developing and delivering key work streams of the business transformation programme in close liaison with business units and other stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of business strategic objectives and benefits
  • Developing, embedding and monitoring of an effective organisational design of the change function to deliver future and existing demands of the portfolio
  • Translating and communicating the change portfolio into meaningful programmes, projects and plans that fully align to OT Group's vision and strategy
  • Continually reviewing, updating and maintaining the change portfolio and associated plans, ensuring full communication and engagement with the business is achieved at all levels
  • Providing a change portfolio that is customer, colleague and business focussed
  • Challenging at multiple levels to ensure that identified change will lead to improved customer experience in balance with achieving business benefits**Cost & Benefit Realisation**:
  • Work collaboratively and proactively with finance colleagues, establishing, agreeing track & monitor the budget for the delivery of the change portfolio and subsequent change priorities
  • Ensuring clear scoping, requirements definition, solution design, planning, delivery and benefits realisation disciplines are in place
  • Managing and monitoring programme and project progress against all KPIs, ensuring that scope creep is identified and minimised
  • Ensuring that benefits realisation is achieved across all programmes and projects in flight
  • Identifying and commissioning work with external suppliers and consultants, ensuring that all third parties and contractors conform to the expected governance and delivery standards
  • Introducing cost effect solutions, through negotiating costs and controlling expenditures across vendors, suppliers and consultants
  • Providing guidance and advice to mitigate potential risks to programme and project performance
  • Ensuring that all change activities are effectively closed off with supporting PIRs and lessons learnt**Team Leadership & Development**:
  • Develop, lead and maintain a new Change Team consisting of IT Project Managers, BA's and the management of a small/medium portfolio whilst liaising and educating Project Leads from across the business
  • Coaching and developing to drive elevated levels of engagement and motivation to deliver the best results or outcome
  • Performance managing the outputs of the team in line with performance management frameworks and standards
  • Cascading and setting robust performance and personal objectives that are aligned to the departmental strategy
  • Contributing to and monitoring the recruitment and onboarding of new colleagues
  • Identifying resourcing requirements, training and development needs for the department to effectively meet existing and future demands
  • Effectively implementing recognition, reward and consequence management for the department
  • Identifying talent and potential within the department and developing succession plans
  • Undertake all activities in line with Company Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures and participate in the development of a safe and healthy workplace.**Governance & Best Practice**:
  • Agreeing, communicating and embedding the change methodologies that will bring the most effective delivery of the change portfolio/transformation programme
  • Setting the standards and practices for change delivery across the business, ensuring that these disciplines are in place and consistently applied
  • Shaping, leading and reviewing an effective and robust PMO function
  • Driving the timely delivery of robust scoping of all change activities
  • Ensuring that robust governance is agreed and adhered to in terms of prechange board and change board disciplines
  • Establishing and embedding standards, processes and reporting across the life cycle of change activities, i.e., from concept/design to implementation and lessons learnt
  • Ensuring that appropriate links with other projects and strategies across OT Group are made, ensuring that clarity of accountability and ownership is in place for the appropriate management of risks and dependencies**Stakeholder Relationship** Proactively engaging with board and senior leaders across the business, identifying clear expectations and sponsorship of change activities
  • Leading and facilitating key stakeholder/board exploration and expectation setting sessions
  • Advising and supporting, Executives, SLT members and Departments Heads in undertaking business transform
