Business Systems Analyst - Insurance Software Vendor
Hybrid home and remote working - Essex
Exciting opportunity to join an insurance technology specialist utilising your analysis and configuration skills to meet client specifications.
This would suit an individual with a background in software development and / or analysis, SQL skills and a good understanding of the insurance domain.
As a Business Systems Analyst, you will be translating insurance business requirements into project documents, the role will often fluctuate between analysis and configuration, undertaking SQL scripting, some reporting and system design.
Business Systems Analyst role function:
- Configure insurance systems to meet client specifications
- Build SQL queries and utilise SQL to report on and modify databases
- Translate client business requirements into highly specified project documents
- Production of project feasibility reports
- Work closely with developers and a variety of endusers to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction
- Being responsible for analysing issues and finding solutions
- Drawing up testing schedules
Knowledge required:
- Understanding of the Insurance business lifecycle
- Experience of utilising SQL to build queries
Skills required:
- Proven Business or Systems Analysis experience
- Strong investigative skills
- Understanding of business and systems process flows and design
