Our client are a global testing company who pride themselves on being at the forefront of rapid and efficient diagnostic results.

They set the highest level of quality standards for their customer and ensure that a quick turnaround and accurate testing solutionsare produced across their sites all over the world.

They are now looking to recruit a Laboratory Manager to join and lead their team.

Responsibilities will include overseeing smooth running of the toxicology laboratory from QA/QC matters to people management.

You will also be on hand to provide expert advice and support to the testing team and be a point of contact for matters relatingto testing services.

You will look to develop methods and seek continuous improvement as well as work to ISO 17025 and maintain correct laboratory protocol.

This role will have a consistent focus on continuous improvement from training staff to improving laboratoryprotocol.

To be considered for the role you will hold a relevant scientific degree and have substantial experience working within a drug and alcohol testing environment.

You should have experience of working to ISO 17025 and the Forensic Science Regulators Codes ofPractice and Conduct for Forensic Science Practitioners.

Expertise across a range of analytical techniques such as GCMS and LCMS is also highly important.

You should be able to work well as part of a team as well as autonomously and have the ability to communicateeffectively both internally and externally with an effective leadership style.
