Bouygues Energies & Services currently has an exciting opportunity for a Cleaning Team Leader to join our Facilities Management team at the JC Decaux HQ in Paddington.

This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours p/week from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday.


The role:


  • Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager
  • To lead the cleaning team, ensuring all areas of the building are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, including but not limited to the following: cleaning of floors, toilets, furniture and fittings, emptying bins and other receptacles and removal of rubbish, checking offices and common areas, including stairways, lounge areas and car parks for cleanliness
  • Overseeing staff performance on a daily basis
  • Undertake major and minor periodic cleaning duties as may be required, including but not limited to carpet cleaning, stripping/sealing/polishing of floors and cleaning of ceiling tiles/vents
  • Monitoring of cleaning and toilet consumables, ordering additional material as required to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained and ensure consumables are distributed to cleaning cupboards; undertake accurate monthly stock takes of cleaning consumables
  • Perform regular quality checks of the standard of cleaning and reporting as required
  • Working 40 hours per week, from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday.

The person:


  • Previous experience leading a team together with good knowledge of cleaning service provision is essential
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload
  • Good standard of both written and spoken communication
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • A good knowledge of Health & Safety
