Northumberland NHS Talking Therapies is a partnership between Mental Health Matters and Sunderland Counselling Service; two local and national providers of psychological therapies with a strong track record of success.

NHS Talking Therapies offers a variety of therapeutic interventions for depression, anxiety, stress, and other mental health related problems. Our service works with people over the age of 16 and has several bases across the locality.

We routinely achieve recovery rates above the national target and demonstrate a strong commitment towards continuing professional development within all roles, also providing opportunities for career progression.

Mental Health Matters (MHM) is a national charity with over 35 years of experience in delivering high-quality mental health and social care services.

We provide services across England, from Northumberland to Plymouth, led by a highly motivated and enthusiastic workforce who are committed to delivering the best quality services to those in need of support

You will oversee the clinical aspects of our qualified and trainee High Intensity provision. Our team includes therapists qualified in CBT, IPT, DIT, Counselling for Depression, EMDR and Couple's Therapy for Depression. A strong commitment towards continuing professional development, offering a fantastic clinical CPD programme and regular opportunities for development and training;
