    Junior Cost Analyst at Global Company

    Are you detail-oriented with a passion for cost analysis and financial planning? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment and want a role where your insights can impact a leading business?

    We are working with a global entertainment company, recruiting a Junior Cost Analyst into a newly-created role. Reporting to the Senior Cost Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing, monitoring, and reporting on costs associated with operations, projects, and products, contributing to various areas of the business.

    The Role:

    • Analyze cost data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization.
    • Assist with cost-benefit analysis to evaluate financial impacts of decisions and initiatives.
    • Help prepare reports on cost performance, including variance analysis and forecasting.
    • Present findings and recommendations to support decision-making.
    • Collaborate with teams to implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
    • Assist with report development and automation for streamlined processes.
    • Analyze and input data from invoices/purchase orders.
    • Provide ad hoc support to the Senior Cost Analyst.

    Requirements:

    • Interested in studying ACCA/CIMA/ACA.
    • 2-3 years' experience in accounts payable, cost analysis, or related roles.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS products.
    • Detail-oriented with strong data issue identification skills.
    • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
    • Proven ability to work in a team environment.
    • Experience with Dynamics 365 and Adaptive is a plus.

    Package:

    • Salary of £30,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience).
    • 25 days of annual leave + bank holidays.
