About the role
We are looking for an
Arborist on a permanent basis to join our Environmental Services team. This role is predominately based in our Neighbourhoods and you will attend the office as and when required.

The purpose of the role is to undertake a wide range of high quality, practical arboriculture and landscape maintenance operations including aerial tree works to the highest standards of safety and quality, whilst providing excellent customer service.

A full UK Driving Licence with C+ E category (towing trailers) is required for the role.
Deal with customer enquiries, including requests for service and complaints and dangerous trees.
Carry out a wide range of arboricultural operations using associated machinery and equipment.
Assist in conducting a comprehensive range of flexible, emergency tree works, and land scheduled tree maintenance.
Undertake basic assessment surveys and deliver appropriate reports for tree works, updating our digital system with basic data as required.
Complete all works to the relevant quality standards and in line our procedures and KPI's, complying with Health and safety standards in all areas of operations whilst on site.

CS30 / CS31 Maintenance
Crosscutting and Felling
CS32 Felling of Medium Trees
CS38 Climb Trees and Perform Aerial Rescue
CS39 Operate a Chain Saw from a Rope and Harness and Manually Fed Brushwood Chipper
Stump grinding NPTC
CS40, 41 Aerial pruning and dismantling
PA1, PA6 Pesticides training
