    Are you our next Senior Arrears Specialist?

    Pepper Advantage is one of the leading specialist loan servicing companies in the UK and we are currently looking for a Senior Arrears Specialist with proven experience in customer service, mortgage administration, and delivery of workout solutions to customers experiencing payment difficulties.

    This is a hybrid role, with the expectation of three days per week office attendance, following an initial period of office-based training.

    As a Senior Arrears Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

    • Assisting in the resolution of customer complaints.
    • Reviewing customer accounts and making appropriate decisions
    • Training and developing of new Specialists
    • Assisting the manager in the leadership of the team.
    • Attending relevant meetings in the absence of their manager and managing ad-hoc issues and projects as they arise
    • Supervision and guidance of specialists in the managers absence
    • Assisting the manager in ensuring required levels of productivity and performance are delivered

    Essential Skills:

    • Prior exposure to operational loan management
    • Able to consistently deliver outstanding customer service
    • The ability to manage and lead the team both in the presence and absence of the manager
    • The ability to coach, train, develop and mentor Specialists of all experience and abilities.
    • Able to resolve problems, think creatively, and make effective decisions in the appropriate timescale
    • A good understanding of regulatory requirements and the impact these have on
    • business
    • Analytical and abstract reasoning skills, plus excellent organization skills
    • Able to to apply consideration to potential outcomes and to make decisions with supervision
    • The ability to deliver relevant feedback from meetings and guidance from other Managers and
    • to the team.
    • Self-reliant and self-motivated.
    • Detail orientated and able to work to tight deadlines.
