Description
Global company, established for over 100 years, head office in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, have a newly created role for a Communications Executive / Content Creator working within a large (super friendly and highly collaborative) marketing and communications team.
You will be acting as an ambassador for the business (currently experiencing rapid growth due to exciting product launches) during both internal and external interactions for the group's vision and strategy, through the creation and delivery of engaging content.
You will thoroughly enjoy using your advanced copy writing skills to innovate, implement, deliver and manage creative content that is aligned to the company's vision.
You will drive the businesses external and internal content with energy, passion and positivity to maximise the awareness of products and services; and ensure the business sustainably retains its leadership position in a market that is experiencing a challenging period of transformation and rapid growth.
Communications & Content Creator
- Research, create, review, edit a wide range of written content for company website, external publications, blogs, TV scripts, podcasts and social media platforms. Your advanced copy writing skills will be fully utilised
- Devise a plan to develop and manage online community, implement new initiatives to connect and engage with different target stakeholders. Developing engaging content and communicating with a broad range of communities.
- Support the delivery of marketing and communications activities. Making improvements where you see fit.
- Work with the digital analyst to report on the performance of social media and online activities, analyse results and make recommendations
- Support the launch of an exciting range of new and updated products and services by creating and delivering engaging online content. Be the go to person within the team regarding effective communications.
- Collaborate with the Product Management Department to support the delivery of total lifecycle management of existing and future products/services.
- Support and maintain a positive public identity for the company.
- Attend, summarise and participate in relevant exhibitions, presentations, seminars and meetings across the UK.
Communications & Content Creator Skills & Attributes
- Experience of creating, including writing, strong, engaging content ranging from social media posts to blogs. Able to demonstrate your style via a portfolio / links
- Knowledge of: MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Project, Adobe PhotoShop, InDesign, Premier Pro (or equivalent graphics/video editing software training can be given
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and communications including social media management
- Understanding of SEO best practice
- Excellent research, organisational and timemanagement skills. A diligent, analytical, selfmotivational, passionate and proactive problemsolving mindset
- A natural ability to collaborate within a highly collaborative team (currently 15 and increasing)
- A genuine interest in sustainability would be highly beneficial and to be able to travel once a month to the other offices to attend meetings, help with filming or be involved with new product launches.
Hours:
Full time, permanent, - 5pm,
Location:
hybrid working from the Hatfield, Hertfordshire office - 3 days per week.
