What we do
Ruach City Church one of the largest and fastest growing non-denominational Pentecostal Christian churches in Europe.
Starting from humble beginnings, with only a handful of faithful members, the church has grown rapidly since its inception in December 1992.The church is known for hosting interdenominational events which have had an overwhelming success in promoting greater unity within the wider Christian church.
We have recently celebrated our 30th anniversary and it is an exciting time to be working for Ruachas we look to expand with new dynamic projects.
About the Role
The Buildings Officer role is an integral part of our Facilities Team and will play a key role in ensuring Ruach City Church is a safe, welcoming and a fantastic place to work and visit.
Your role will be to ensure the efficient day to day running of maintenanceand building compliance at your assigned locations.
About you
We are looking for a highly effective, resourceful and enthusiastic individual who will ensure the buildings and grounds of Ruach City Church are safe, secure and accessible, while promoting teamwork and motivating staff to ensure effective working relationshipsacross the board.
As a buildings professional we expect you to bring your knowledge and experience of health and safety compliance and best practice inbuildings, environment and grounds management; where you will be able to confidently hit the ground running from the outset.
You will have experience of developing and implementing new initiatives that support organisational goals and you be well equippedwith critical thinking skills, enabling you to effectively come up with effective solutions and make decisive decisions when faced with difficult scenarios.
You will have the ability to collaborate and be an excellent communicator who can advise and driveforward improvements and efficiencies across our locations.
It would be great if you have
Experience of working with volunteers, or relevant experience of working with people with diverse needs and abilities.
Locations available
- Brixton/Kilburn but working at any Ruach location full time and part time available
- Walthamstow part time 20 hours (£12,500pa circa)
