About the Role
The Administration Manager will provide strategic leadership to staff and voluntary administration teams and will nurture a comprehensive, effective and high performing delivery of administration services to Ruach City Church (RCC) stakeholders and ministryteams.
You will lead the team and develop the administrative function through the provision of effective and efficient processes and procedures, to a high standard and accuracy of records and efficient service delivery.
Why your role matters
As our Administration Manager you will be solely responsible for all aspects of Ruach City Church administration, which includes management of ChurchSuite, our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, partner services administration (Baptism, BabyDedication, Funeral, Weddings, References), and volunteer administration/recruitment, pastoral administration and financial budgets.
You will manage, inspire, and coach the administration and safeguarding teams to develop individuals and competencies that reinforce the delivery of a highly efficient administration service for Ruach City Church employees and volunteers.
As our administrativelead you will plan, coordinate and implement strategies for the operational management and development of the team in response to the requirements of Ruach City Church's visions and goals.
You will set realistic objectives and KPIs for the administration departmentand its individual functions to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
You will collaborate with our third party HR provider, to meet business objectives, goals, KPIs and organisational change processes, encouraging continuous improvement and sustaining a high performing culture.
About you
We are looking for an administrative professional with strong team leadership and management skills and the ability to build robust relationships.
You will need experience of producing and implementing administration practices, policies/procedures and experienceof preparing management information, both written and verbal for a variety of purposes and audiences, including our Board of Trustees.
Demonstrable knowledge of Safeguarding and the range of support or agencies that can assist/guide safeguarding concerns or cases is fundamental to this role as is a good working knowledge of current data protection, privacy, copyright and confidentialitylegislations.
You will be proficient at an intermediate/advanced level in a range of software packages including Microsoft Office and CRM, e.g.
You will be a team player who is willing to get stuck in and committed to the success of your team.

Are a member of a professional Administration body, e.g.
UCAN (UK Church Administration Network) and have experience of working with volunteers, or relevant experience of working with people with diverse needs and abilities.

Ruach City Church one of the largest and fastest growing non-denominational Pentecostal Christian churches in Europe.
Starting from humble beginnings, with only a handful of faithful members, the church has grown rapidly since its inception in December 1992.
The church is known for hosting interdenominational events which have had an overwhelming success in promoting greater unity within the wider Christian church.
We have recently celebrated our 30th anniversary and it is an exciting time to be working forRuach as we look to expand with new dynamic projects.
