Are you looking for your next available career in HR, are you available to undertake a 6 month contract which could be extended due to secondment?

If so we would love to hear from, we have an exciting new role Head of Workforce ER & HR Business Partnering

Our client offers free parking and hybrid working (3 days in office 2 days at home)

Your role would be
Ensure the ER & HR Team provides consistent & sound HR advice to managers on matters relating to the employment of staff
To be an active member of the assigned Department's Management Team, contributing to the achievement of the Divisions strategy
Support managers through all stages of HR procedures, including participating in investigations, advising on HR procedures on panels at hearings & appeal hearings, advising Chairs of panels
Provide support in the management of poor performance, misconduct & sickness absence issues & provide a focus on health, wellbeing & attendance
Support line managers to establish effective methods of workforce performance monitoring & management responsibilities under employment law & HR procedures
Ensure the provision of specialised advice & support on both the people aspects and the employment law aspects of any changes to minimise the risks to the operational goals of the company
Work with the L&D Manager, support line managers to identify training needs & support delivery of programmes
Work with the Head of Talent in ensuring they can grow their own Talent & future leaders through effective performance management, assessment of potential & development of Career Paths
Work with the Head of Resourcing to ensure the provision of transparent, fair, bias free, professional recruitment services in accordance with workforce establishment & legal requirements
Work with line managers to create the necessary working conditions & working processes to secure high levels of staff morale, motivation, productivity & innovation
Be an active member of HR & assigned departmental management team, attending & participating in meetings
Coordinate actions of the Project Team in relation to the department related projects
Undertake ad hoc projects in conjunction with other members of the wider People Team
Be a key point of liaison with Solicitors during highly complex cases and Employment Tribunals, providing all relevant information for the preparation of defence case
To maintain membership status of CIPD and assume responsibility for professional accountability & continuous professional development. To enhance own performance through continuously developing knowledge, skills and behaviours to meet current and future requirementsand respond to the learning / development needs of the Trust
