    Creative Primary Teaching Assistant

    Location: England, Greater London, Tower Hamlets

    Job Type: Contract, full-time hours

    Salary: £85 - £100 per day

    Protocol Education are currently recruiting on behalf of a lovely school in Tower Hamlets who are looking for classroom assistants to join them in September 2024.

    These roles will be for the duration of the academic year and for the strongest candidates can lead to full-time employment with the school.

    You will be working closely with children with ASD on a daily basis. Prior experience in this area would be highly beneficial.

    Are school is looking for a creative person who can really bring learning to life and find exciting ways to teach their learners with ASD.

    We welcome applications from soon to be graduates. Those with degrees in Music, Theatre, Drama etc are strongly advised to apply.

    This school in Tower Hamlets are looking to interview and appoint as soon as possible.

    Job Duties:

    • Supporting the primary teacher in delivering creative and engaging lessons
    • Assisting with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment
    • Working with individual students or small groups to provide additional support and guidance
    • Helping to prepare teaching materials and resources
    • Participating in school events and activities

    Required Qualifications:

    • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
    • Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent
    • Enhanced DBS check
    • Creative Degree preferred

    Knowledge and Skills:

    • Good understanding of the primary school curriculum
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
    • Creativity and enthusiasm for working with children

    Working Conditions:

    • Contract position with full-time hours
    • Work within a primary school setting in Tower Hamlets, Greater London
    • Opportunity to contribute to the educational development of primary school students
    • Regular interaction with pupils, teachers, and parents

    All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
