This is an exciting opportunity to work with a long established housing organisation who are leaders within their field.


Location of Work:
Haringey & Enfield Boroughs


Role & Responsibilities:

The work is typically void reactive and planned painting and decorating jobs. It will be moving from job to job throughout the day/week predominantly on a reactive basis.


You will be liaising closely with the office repairs co-ordinator; undertaking planned and re active painting and decorating works as the jobs come through.


You will be expected to work without a great deal of supervision so it is imperative that you have a good work ethic and can organise yourself.

We are also looking for someone who takes responsibility and accountability and will engage with the programme to contribute ideas on how to do things better or more efficiently.

You will be the main painter & decorator for us. This is a very good role, playing a very important role, with plenty of responsibility and career progression.

  • Undertake both responsive and planned maintenance of painting and decorating services
  • Working on residential properties
  • Painting and decorating of interior and exterior walls.
You will need to drive, ideally with your own vehicle, and move your own tools and collect smaller materials. Support will be provided in the shape of information and larger materials order from the back-office.

Applicants must have:


  • Excellent work experience in a similar role (Essential)
  • Excellent Organisational, planning and time management skills
  • Enthusiastic, ambitious with the ability to work on your own initiative.
  • Strong motivational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexible hours

Salary:
£14.00-£16.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • North London,

Greater London:
reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)


Experience:

- painting: 2 years (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
