Position
Summary:


Position Objectives:


  • Researching and qualifying leads through various channels, including online research
  • Serve as first point of contact for inbound leads, and coordinate with the sales team to ensure leads are nurtured, qualified, and converted to live opportunities utilizing tech stack
  • Generate interest in NeoGenomics' products, develop new accounts, and/or proactively expand existing accounts
  • Clearly articulate the value proposition of Informatics products and services to potential customers
  • Assessing the suitability and level of interest of leads by asking qualifying questions.
  • Remain up to date on current Oncology landscape involving account pipelines and utilize timing signals and industry news to drive activity
  • Staying informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market changes and providing insights to the sales and marketing teams based on research.
  • Partner closely with BD's and marketing to discover and qualify new use cases and messaging
  • Work collaboratively with the BD Team to develop and facilitate a seamless transition of new opportunities
  • Identify best practices for refining the company's leadgeneration playbook. Evaluate various sales enablement tools to drive workflow efficiencies and identify new opportunities
  • Promotional activities to support awareness of Informatics trade shows and additional marketing support for broader strategy and tactics
  • Regularly review previously closed lost and outdated opportunities to determine possibility of revisiting
  • Assist with RFP and vendor questionnaires
  • Meet/exceed annual activity and lead generation metrics to successfully drive new opportunities for the commercial team
  • Maintain a highly organized process for tracking dozens of leads simultaneously, ensuring systematic follow up and promptly and professionally responding to clients
  • Maintains excellent relationships with internal and external customers, consultants, and vendors

Education:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Life Science, Marketing, or Business required

Experience:

A minimum of two (2) or more years of experience and some sales experience preferred. Prior formal sales training courses a plus. Demonstrated record of achievement in a prior sales position preferred.

  • Able to operate efficiently in an environment of ambiguity
  • Exceptional and professional communication skills written, verbal and presentation coupled with excellent listening skills
  • Ability to develop rapport, influence others and maintain strong working relationships at all levels
  • Familiarity with sales automation tools like SalesLoft, Salesforce, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, and LinkedIn Navigator
  • Experience working in Oncology/diagnostics a plus

Travel Required:

20% field sales, regional and national
