Industrial Disease / Occupational Health Fee Earner - Greater Manchester


Industrial Disease Fee Earner - A Partner specialising in complex long and short-tail industrial disease work is looking for a bright Paralegal, Litigation Executive, Legal Executive or Solicitor to join the department on a 12-month Fixed term contract to assist on a range of matters.

Previous industrial disease experience would be ideal, but is not necessary. Because of the fact this is an FTC, the Partner will look broadly.

Previous experience: Experience of industrial disease would be ideal, but by no means necessary. Litigation experience is also not absolutely required.


Partner with caseload of complex industrial disease matters
This is at its essence an assisting role to enable the Partner to progress their caseload more effectively


Responsibilities will include:

  • To assist in progressing the file in the most appropriate manner
  • Providing support to comply with court directions and timetables
  • Drafting court documents
  • Analysis of evidence
  • Reporting to client and keeping them up to speed on the progress of a case.
  • Instructing Counsel / experts
  • Preparation of bundles
Ideally you should have some experience of handling industrial disease matters and / or personal injury cases. However, as this is a fixed term contract, this is not strictly necessary.
