    West Berkshire Council is recruiting Newly Qualified Social Workers (NQSW) who wish to go into front line Social Work and join our established Newly Qualified Social Work Programme and complete their Assessed and Supported Year of Employment (ASYE)

    You will join our established ASYE programme, benefit from a dedicated, experienced practice educator, supportive management team, reduced caseload, protected time for professional development and enhanced supervision and training for the duration of your ASYE year.

    You will take up a post in one of our frontline social work teams, which include Contact, Advice and Assessment Service, Family Safeguarding Teams (FS East and West), Children with Disabilities Team. All teams are based in Newbury Town Centre except the F.S. East Team which is based at our office in Calcot, Reading.
