Role Description:


The Senior Business Control Specialist (SBCS) is responsible for audit and exam management including direct and indirect audit exam interaction, regulatory responses, issues management - including the support for risk self-identification and oversight of theissues management lifecycle, and ad hoc risk inquiries across the Global Payments Operations organization.

In addition, the SBCS will be responsible for direct oral and written communication with senior leaders.


The Team:

Remote work / hybrid schedules are not available for this position. This Sr. Business Control Specialist will work on-site at our Bromley site.


Core Skills:


  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in the Audit, Exam, Compliance, Risk, or Regulatory functions of a large financial services company, multinational company, public accounting firm, or with a regulatory agency with strong track record of success and demonstratedprogression in complexity of assignments.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner
  • Individual with desire to learn and teach others, high energy, positive attitude and be a leader through change
  • Exceptional analytical and critical thinking abilities; Able to develop and convey a point of view
  • Professionalism, dependability, integrity and trustworthiness combined with a cooperative attitude. Able to thrive in a dynamic team environment.
  • Highly motivated selfstarter with ability to prioritize work and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, ability to effectively challenge and influence and strong attention to detail and accuracy
