We're recruiting for an exciting
E-Commerce Manager (Fixed Term Contract)opportunity in our
Off Trade Major Mults Sales team.


It is essential that the right person has the ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally in order to get the job done.

Communication, flexibility and adaptability are essential in the complex world of the off trade UK beer market.


Key accountabilities
The
E-commerce Manager is responsible for the following key outputs and accountabilities,

  • Execute E-Commerce strategy laid out by Ecomm controller across all key off trade customers.
  • Working with Commercial Leads to build and deliver customer E-Comm plans that are aligned to overarching customer JBPs and deliver against E-Comm KPIs.
  • Fully responsible for E-Comm customer budgets and to ensure AUK optimise its GM return for all E Commerce TI.
  • Lead & drive Ecomm commercial KPIs internally & externally by driving revenue & stealing share across the off trade.
  • Responsible for building and nurturing strategic retailer partnerships and by leveraging insight and capability to identify and develop new eCommerce opportunities with UK Grocery retailers.
  • Ownership and deep understanding of ecommerce business insights, shopper and category trends to identify business opportunities: Hands on approach on data and analysis to enable strategic decisions & create plans for growth.
  • Lead online category management with retailers across AUK portfolio
  • Create and deliver thought leadership with retailers: Inspiring with bestinclass insights, ideas and channel understanding, create partnerships proactively leading test and learn ideas to help UK retailers drive category growth.
  • E Commerce capability building: Key contributor to raising the bar of e commerce IQ and capability across the full UK organisation.

Experience required

  • An understanding of the Business Model of premium brands. Considerable knowledge of the UK beer market.
  • Experience in presenting, persuading, negotiating with a broad range of audiences.
  • Budget management and control.
  • Demonstrated structured selling and negotiation skills.
  • We are looking for a businessminded doer with knowledge of the eRetail landscape who puts the consumer experience at the heart of activities and decisions.
  • UK Ecommerce Sales experience either working within retailer or FMCG ecommerce team.
  • Excellent interpersonal & collaboration skills. The individual needs to have the ability to navigate a complex organisation, influence multiple stakeholders and build strong relationships internally/externally to drive action.
  • Understanding of the ecommerce business. Preferable to have some years of experience in Ecommerce [CPG or retail an advantage]. Specifically experienced in leading an overall strategy through to execution, translating shopper understanding into onlinefundamentals and with a solid understanding of UK online retail.
  • Strong Analytical Capabilities. Ability to analyse data and uncover insights to enable the right business.
  • Experience in presenting, persuading, negotiating with a broad range of audiences.
  • Budget management and control.
  • Demonstrated structured selling and negotiation skills.
