CUSTOMER SERVICES & ESTIMATING ADMINISTRATOR

The post holder is directly responsible to and managed by the Customer Services & Estimating Manager.

Overall, Purpose of the Position:
-


The post holder's primary responsibility is to be a welcoming and efficient contact for our customers; ensuring a first-class service is at the forefront at all times.


Main Duties and Responsibilities:
-


  • To provide excellent customer services to our customers at all times. A professional manner is essential to give customers a good first impression.
  • Responsible for helping customers in a timely and friendly manner, offering advice and support. Due to the nature of the business meticulous attention to detail is essential i.e. part numbers, serial numbers, aircraft details etc.
  • Preparing and actioning estimates, revised estimates and any other requirements utilising our pricing systems and spreadsheets
  • Processing orders for overhauls, repairs, and parts on our system
  • Actioning pick lists for parts and obtaining lead times from OEMs and suppliers where necessary.
  • Updating spreadsheets and liaising with customers details/updates where required
  • Sending of surveys / quote follow ups to customer.
  • Organising bookings for travel, transport, and accommodation as and when requested by colleagues.
  • Provide full administrative support to Customer Services & Estimating Manager
  • To carry out other responsible instructions from management.

Person Specification

Skills:
-


  • Accurate with good attention to detail
  • To be computer literate in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and TEAMS)
  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload (due to work at times been given at short notice)
  • A good command of English, together with very good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.

Experience:
-


  • Minimum of 35 years B2B Customer Service and Administrator experience in a fastpaced environment (Aviation or Aerospace would be highly desirable but not essential)
  • Confident telephone manner
  • Good communication skills

  • Ability to take responsibility for their own work and work with mínimal supervision.
  • To have a record of excellent timekeeping

  • To be able to work within a team as well as on their own.

Qualifications

  • English and Maths (grade 6 or above)

Hours Monday to Friday 8am -5pm (with rota 7:30am-4:00pm on Fridays)


Job Types:

Salary:
Up to £28,000.00 per year
