LHH is delighted to be supporting our client, a highly respected public sector organisation which is helping people and communities in Scotland thrive, as they seek a Sports Facility Design Specialist to join the Facilities Development Team.


The Sports Facility Design Specialist will work with the Facilities Development team, the wider organisation and its partners to provide professional and technical advice and support in relation to the design, funding and construction of sports facilities, at local, regional and national levels.


You will bring to the role experience of project managing capital investment projects and will be knowledgeable around the construction of new facilities, ideally in an environment where you've had exposure to both the public and private sectors, providing advice, persuading, and influencing, adding value beyond written standards.

You will use your expertise of design, building standards and controls to ensure that the guidance provided ensures sustainable and accessible facilities are created.


Within this role you will engage with a wide range of external and internal stakeholders, and you must be comfortable in providing guidance and support across all levels of an organisation.


We are seeking an exceptional professional with strong experience from within the building/construction/design industries who will bring ideas and innovation to the organisation and who can demonstrate being able to turn ideas into practice and in-turn improve business outcomes.
