Description
Our client is looking for a Head of IT Security to join their team on the Isle of Man.


Role Profile:
Design, develop and deliver the IT Security and Logical Access Strategies, ensuring continuous alignment with the Group.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop the IT Security strategy aligned with strategic goals and contribute to the overall IT Strategy
  • Develop strategic and operational roadmaps and plans for IT Security and direct the execution of said plans
  • Prepare reports for presentation to the Board (including subcommittees), and all Governance Committees
  • Develop and implement cyber awareness plans to improve the information risk culture, including themed campaigns and testing.
  • Provide Cyber Education sessions to Executives including Non Executive Directors
  • Provide direction and leadership to team members, guiding their output in line with the strategic direction of the function.
  • Develop a high performing team through motivating, mentoring and developing team members and appropriate goal setting.
  • Own and manage the IT Security Headcount and Budget, remaining within allocated numbers agreed annually
  • Accountable for the monitoring and compliance of IT functions against IT Security policies and standards and for ensuring the implementation, roll out and embedding of technology related change is compliant with Security Governance requirements
  • Ownership of the risk and control selfassessment for IT Security and Access Management in terms of coverage, assurance and remediation activities.
  • Represent CIO as lead facilitator on IT related Internal/External Audits as required, including remediation of any findings.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders to embed partnerships between IT Security, IT, Wealth and Business Unit Leadership
  • Accountability for the cyber resilience of all technology related change from project inception assuring full compliance with Group Security Policies and Standards

Key Skills/Experience:


  • CIISP or equivalent
Year's experience

  • A sound general knowledge of Information Technology and Cyber Security methodologies
  • Sound judgement in relation to business and risk situations, specifically in relation to cyber and information risk

Pay:
£90,000.00-£95,000.00 per year
