Maximising the utilisation of the mixer fleet, and providing exceptional customer service to all concrete customersTo sell the companies range of RMC and concrete products to a range of customers, and provide outstanding customer service to all concrete customersProviding technical advice and support to internal and external customers for the Ready Mixed Concrete businessMaintaining and issuing all mix design data for internal use and issuing mix design certificates to customersMaintaining all records and processes for compliance to BSI for Ready Mixed ConcreteManaging and motivating teams, setting clear expectations and ensuring feedback on individual performance is provided both informally and formally where required.
Ensuring appropriate reports are accurate and produced for line management, for example lorry earnings, concrete mix costsTo deliver excellent service to both internal and external customers, by being the first point of contact for many of the client customer base.
Adding customer orders and details onto our sales and transport operations system accurately with all relevant details in a timely manner.
Administration of drivers pay/holiday/sickness using Realtime, Iris & Tachomaster ensuring this information is passed to payroll weekly.Skills / CompetenciesExperience in a similar role in site management within the RMC sectorSound knowledge of sales and managing a sale territory preferably within the ready-mix concrete environmentKnowledge and understanding of all relevant health and safety regulationsAbility to identify opportunities for improvementEffective communication and teamwork skills at all levels with the ability to work under pressureAbility to effectively utilise a range of software including the MS office suite, finance and sales order processing systems.
Full UK Driving LicenseConcrete technology parts 1 and 2 (desirable)
