SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - LANCASTER Hybrid working to c£61,000 plus exceptional benefits


We are working with an award winning large scale Academic organisation, looking to an experienced Software Development Team Lead to manage a growing team.

The role encompasses team management and architecture, looking to both the current system and re-architectural changes going forth.

With in excess of 13,000 unique users, our client is ranked highly and is well respected in their sector.

Skills and Experience Required:


  • At least 5 years' experience Leading an Agile software development team with a focus on continuous prioritisation and delivery of features
  • Confident in evaluating and developing new Architecture
  • Experience of team management
  • Experience in Agile / Scrum
  • Ability to write excellent quality, well documented and efficient code in required programming languages
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to a nontechnical audience
  • Experience of integration
  • Knowledge of SQL and Angular would be highly beneficial
