About the role
The Risk Officer will be required to support the risk and compliance team deliver on their strategy and annual plan.
Joining our Risk team, reporting to the Risk Manager, you will support the risk and compliance team by providing information, guidance, and advice to the business on identify, reporting and the ongoing management of risk.
You will keep up to date with any changes in risk requirements and ensure they are applied to working practice e.g., risk events, risk register implementation whilst supporting with the implementation and adoption of DFN (Group Risk Management system) across Atlanta ensuring the system is kept up to date.
You will be responsible for supporting with the implementation of risk and compliance policies and business standards, particularly those that are risk management specific whilst developing and producing risk reporting, utilising existing tools for committees, oversight forums and other relevant purposes.
- Develop knowledge of risk management frameworks, incl. but not limited to risk events, risk appetite and risk registers
- Support with the implementation of the enterprise risk approach, and regular review of supplementary risk registers.
- Act as a critical friend and point of contact for risk champions, providing support and training on risk management including risk events and risk registers and risk champion network.
- Support the Compliance function with Risk Management activity e.g., risk events, business standards and policy maintenance, assurance activity etc.
