The role will be based in the Credit Operations Department.

They are looking for someone with excellent communication skills able to work with a variety of people internally and externally.

The role is based in Slough and there is opportunity for hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process all in life contract changes for Customers/ Retailers including early settlements, maturities and terminations
  • Respond to and resolve inbound Customer/ Retailer enquiries; answer all verbal and written enquiries to Customer/Retailer satisfaction
  • Update the Contract Management System accordingly
  • Make outbound calls as appropriate
  • Allocate payments received accurately and in a timely manner
  • Liaise with the Finance department to ensure accuracy of data and resolution of queries
  • Liaise with other areas of the business in order to manager credit balances and ensure that refunds are processed to the customers in a timely manner
  • Assist other areas of the business with timely and accurate responses to queries and requests for information
  • Liaise with third parties such as Retailers where necessary
  • Own all customer and retailer issues through to resolution
  • Ensure management is aware of potential issues associated with work queues and workload backlog
  • Work effectively with colleagues in support functions around the business to maximise customer satisfaction
  • Monitor own performance to ensure adherence to targets, deadlines and procedures
  • Adhere to formal regulatory processes and policies
  • Undertake any collections activities in accordance with the required regulations
  • Treats customer with respect adhering to principles of Treating Customers Fairly
  • Participate in department/business projects to generate innovative ideas that add value
  • Constant focus on the needs of the customer/ retailer with the aim of providing value driven services
Skills/experience

  • A degree in any discipline
  • Intermediate Word or Excel
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Numerate and analytical
