Procurement Contract Manager
Do you have a background in procurement? Are you keen to progress into the next steps of your career?


The PA Media Group are looking for someone with a strong contracts background to come in and hit the ground running.


You will be protecting the business from commercial, legal, and reputational risk by ensuring all contracts are supported by a contractual agreement, with a focus on the best interest of the business.


What you'll be doing:


  • Supporting all areas of business with new and existing contracts.
  • Making sure renewals of existing contracts are performed in a timely manner.
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders and SMEs to identify the most appropriate procurement route to market.
  • Reviewing and advising on contractual terms, liaising with the Head of Procurement and legal counsel where required.
  • Monitoring contracts during their lifecycle ensuring they are fulfilling the contractual requirements.
  • Advising stakeholders and the Finance Business Partners of anticipated cost pressures.
  • Ensuring all contractual paperwork is completed and countersigned.
  • Raising POs that reflect the nature of the goods or services procured.
  • Accurately recording and communicating the savings achieved or cost increases.
  • Running periodic reports, and providing contract activity data as required.

What we need from you:


  • Competent with Microsoft Offices packages.
  • CIPS or equivalent qualified (or currently working towards).
  • Comfortable communicating and presenting to Senior Management.
  • Experience of ERP, or similar procurement systems.
